The 5^th Chakra is Sky Blue, mantra ‘I Speak’ which is situated at the throat. The throat chakra is linked with Shoulders, jaw, throat and neck. On a physical level we can from blocking the throat chakra get continuous sore throats and have problems with our throid. Swallowed anger, again it is a holding in of emotion, as we are not expressing what we want to say.

The 6^th Chakra is Indigo – Dark Blue mantra ‘I perceive’ which is situated in between the brow. The 6^th Chakra is also about seeing at the 3^rd eye, and on a physical level it is associated with nervous system, ears, eyes, nose, sinuses, headaches and our hormones. Metaphysically if we take the ears for example and we have a blockage in this chakra it is about hearing, many of us to not want to hear many things, so we shut of from hearing what people have to say, ear infections or ear ache can occur.

The 7^th Chakra is Violet – White mantra ‘I am’ which is situation just above our crown.

On a physical level illness can steam in the way of Chronic illness, Cancer and have problems within our immune system. The crown chakra is about being at one with yourself and life, many open up this chakra when meditation allowing the life force energy to flow in, this also happens when channelling reiki, the life force energy comes through the crown. Metaphysically this can be associated again with emotions, what has been eating you away? Deep hurt, resentment, carrying hatred..

The above is only a rough guide to the chakras and metaphysical illness. We are only just becoming aware of how we are with our lives, that we can create problems in life with our bodies, and is a very deep subject and in many cases, hard to understand, as it means that we should be more careful with what we do, how we think how we react and how we hold on to the past. Many do not want to take control of their lives, so will not even start to understand that we can prevent many things, and as always that is our choice, and our choice alone. We also have to remember that some things just happen, its part of our life, it could be heredity, it could be through drink and drugs, and no matter how we try to work on ourselves, our chakras, there will always be times that nothing can ‘fix’ us, but what it will do, is help us become more at one with ourselves, finding that inner peace we so wish for, with our hectic life styles that we have today.
