The Chakras
Chakra’s are an important part of our energy system other than our energy field the aura. The are 7 main chakra’s although some say more or less, plus we have the minor chakra’s throughout our energy field.. The chakra’s are not attached to our physical body in any way, but are link to various areas as will be discussed later. We have pictures of 2 chakra images and what is going on within the client. The term Chakra comes from the word ‘Sankrit’ which is from ancient India, meaning spinning wheel, and this is how our charkra’s work, they spin. There is different opinions of which way they spin, some say they spin like a cog going in opposite direction, some say they are all spin the same way. To me, I do not feel this matters, as the important matter about our chakra’s is balance and harmony. When our Chakra’s are balance and harmony, then so are we and with our life and all that is going on around us, when we have un-balance and disharmony, we can become ill, things in our life just seem to go from bad to worse at times, our energy goes down, we get tired and just feel depleted of energy.
Each Chakra is associated with a colour, mantra, symbol, with the lowest charkra 1st is the Base, colour red associated with the mantra I live. It is the charka of lowest vibration associated with our material life, the skeletal structure, blood, muscles, tissues and organs such as our intestines. One of the common physical elements of the base chakra out of balance or closed is lower back pain, and working on a metaphysical level, back pain is associated with how we deal with life. Lower back pain is about lack of financial support, which in term brings us the fear of money of not having enough to support ourselves and our families. The middle of our back represents Guilt to making decisions or not making decisions, being stuck in life, the middle back also represents balance. The top of our back represents how we hold ourselves in life, do we feel strong with who we are, or do we feel weak and cannot deal with things like emotions, knowing we do not feel loved, lack of emotional support.
The 2nd Chakra is orange known as the sacrel chakra, the mantra I create. The sacrel chakra on a material level is about creativity, and on a physical level of our bodily functions it is associated with the sexual organs, bladder, blood circulation, kidneys. When the sacrel chakra is out of balance, it can create problems of physical disorders, Impotence, prostate disease, problems within the female productive system, kidney disease. Looking at the metaphysical level of ‘illness’ we then need to look at the symptoms, for example, we get kidney disease, what can this really mean on a deeper level? Most kidney problems one experiences, can be hereditary, or self indulgent with drink and drug. The job of our kidney is to maintain the acid-alkaline balances in the blood, and are involved with red cell production, it is to keep our bodies working in balance to enable the blood to flow in rhythm. Kidneys, on the metaphysical level is about our emotions, holding on to things, issues within relationships, are we in balance with our relationships, or we imbalance with our energies of male/female, yin yang. Do we fill disappointed with our lives or ourselves? When these ‘issue’s or ‘thought’ enter our heads, and we hold on to these, especially on a sub conscious level, this is when the sacrel chakra can become out of balance.
The 3rd Chakra is Yellow, mantra ‘I Know’ known as the Solar Plexus, this is where our spirit attaches to us, this is where our life force energy is, this is where we get that ‘gut’ feeling the centre of knowledge. On a physical level, the solar plexus is associated with the stomach, diabetes, digestive problems, on the metaphysical level the looking deeper within, what can diabetes represent? On one level it can be about giving and receiving love, as well as loving ourselves, again linked with emotions.
The 4th Chakra is Green, mantra ‘I Love’ which is situated at the heart. On a physical level of ‘illness’ a out of balance or blocked chakra can represent heart problems, high and low blood pressure. On a metaphysical level, it can also represent no love for anyone, relationship problems, lack of feeling, lack of joy and the hardening of the arteries, where we have through life’s experiences block a lot on our emotional level.
